The Springfield JR Thunderbirds are excited to announce their E9 Bantam coaches for the 2023-24 season.

Bantam Minor (2010 birth year): Armand Latulippe, Brian Foley and  Andrew Wright

• Armand is currently the Head Coach of the 2010 MassConn team.
• Brian is currently the Head Coach of Pope Francis Prep
• Andrew is the Director of Player Development for JR TBirds

The 2010 Bantam minor team is a full-year team and competes in the prestigious E9 hockey league and also plays in some high-end beast series tournaments.

There will be three teams at this age level.

The second level team will compete in the BHL American division.

The third level team will compete in the BHL National Division.

Bantam Major (2009 birth year): Brian Foley 

• Brian is the founder and president of JR TBirds and head coach of Pope Francis Prep

There will also be three teams at this level. The JR Thunderbirds offer both full-season and half-season options in this age group. There will be three first-half teams and two second-half teams to accommodate all players.

More on Armand: Armand played defense for two seasons at UMass Amherst before transferring to Plattsburgh where he helped them win a SUNYAC Championship and make an NCAA tournament appearance in 1997. Armand then played one season of professional hockey in the CHL before starting his coaching career at Fredonia State University in Fredonia, NY.
