The Jr. T-Birds are excited to announce that Pat Tabb will be coaching both the U15 Midget boys and U12 Girls teams.

Pat is also a skills coach for the Jr. Thunderbirds organization.

"I’m pleased to have the opportunity to lead the 12u Girls Jr. Thunderbirds. Over the years I’ve had the privilege to work with and help develop many female players that have moved onto prep and NCAA college hockey programs and I look forward to continuing that development with the Jr. Thunderbirds," Tabb said.

Check out Pat's bio from the AIC website:

Tabb rejoined the AIC's coaching staff midway through the 2018-19 season as a volunteer assistant after previously serving in the same position from the 2004-05 through the 2006-07 seasons. Tabb was a four-year letterwinner on the ice hockey team from 1999-2003, playing in 115 games and collecting three goals and 12 assists for 15 points. Tabb then left to take control of the then-Eastern Junior Hockey League’s Springfield Pics as the team’s head coach and general manager. The team was a founding member of the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) in 2013, and in its first season in the newly-former league, won its Elite Division, advancing to the 2014 Tier III Junior Nationals, where they lost in the semifinals to the eventual champion Boston Jr. Bruins. Tabb continued to lead the team as it moved up to the USPHL’s top division, the Premier Division, where in 2016-17 the team stunned the Jersey Hitmen en route to the league semifinals. Tabb joined the Western New England University coaching staff in 2017, serving as an assistant coach for the Golden Bears, a position he held until resigning it in December of 2018 to rejoin AIC’s staff.
