UPDATE, Feb. 15: Due to some confusion surrounding the half year and full year teams, we have **updated this article to help better explain how the teams will be broken down.

Don’t miss Bantam Major (2008) tryouts March 14th for the top place to play full or half year Bantam. The JR Thunderbirds will offer 3 very competitive teams:

**There will be three first half teams made up of full year and half year players.

  1. E9
  2. BHL American
  3. BHL National

Then after Thanksgiving the full year players will combine to form 2 winter Bantam teams:

  1. Winter E9 Top team
  2. Winter BHL Second team

The E9 prep team will be coached by Pope Francis Prep coach Brian Foley and the E9 full year players will combine with full year players from the BHL American team for the second half Winter E9 season (New standings and league playoffs).

This full year team will also play prep school JV teams.

For over 10 years this model has proven to be the best model for this age group.
The third team in this age group will stay together for the season and is intended for full year players.
